Elizabeth Linn
Elizabeth Linn, a teacher by training and a graduate in European Humanities, is an expert in the field of memorial church brasses.
These monuments laid down in cathedrals and churches alike from the 11th century onwards, depict knights and their ladies, the clergy, tradesmen - indeed the whole rich panoply of English history.
Liz is married with three grown-up children and lives in Hurstpierpoint, East Sussex. The company she founded over twenty years ago - 'History In Brass' - is staffed by teaching professionals and visits schools across the south of England and makes regular appearances at a wide variety of outdoor events. By means of original brass rubbings and facsimile brasses, they provides insights into the customs, manners and costumes of Medieval,Tudor and Victorian England.
